I Love Mondays!

Mondays are great and we’re at the end of November with this one!

Thanksgiving was AWESOME!  We had had SO MANY orders with a few that snuck in under the wire.  We’re very, very thankful for all that ordered for the holiday and have heard from several that Imagine Cheesecake added deliciously to their Thanksgiving desserts.  YAY!  I love fantastic reports and sweet SMILES!

With a day away from baking today, I’ll be working on our website – there are several items I need to update and quite a few that I need to add.

Our first out of the area shipment went to California and went perfectly!  We’ve already received an order to be shipped to California for Christmas – thanks Debora!  You’re awesome, woman!

Imagine Cheesecake sightings this week include our WBON Silent Auction  – truly looking forward to it!  We have such a fantastic group of women business owners that I’m so glad and very proud to be a part of!  Saturday brings the annual Christmas parade and festivities to the city of Apex, NC.  All Booked Up Salem Street Bookstore will have LOTS of Imagine…Elegant Minis on hand.  Owners Shiloh and Janice are way cool and always make sure anyone walking through their doors have a grand time!

Imagine Cheesecake is sliding right into the Chrstmas season with many delicious Cheesecakes in store!

Imagine Cheesecake Fun and Places to Visit!

Imagine Cheesecake has been invited to take part in quite a few functions lately, which is WONDERFUL!  There was the wine tasting, the fund raiser gala and the Peak City Film Festival after party to name a few.  We have met the most fantastic people and have truly had SO much fun!  There is so much more ahead on the schedule!

Thank you, old friends and new, for allowing us to take part in every single event!  We have had the BEST time and LOVE sharing Imagine Cheesecakes with each of you.  You have all brought smiles to my face and sweet joy to my heart!

Here are a few places I recommend you visit when you’re in the Cary and Apex areas of North Carolina:

The Pineapple Tea Room on Salem Street in Apex – Kendra Haden and Carol Bolding are tea experts and tea lovers.  Their shop is filled with everything you could imagine having to do with tea!  They have a wonderful area in which you can have a cup of tea – did I see Mimosas today, ladies? – and tasty finger sandwiches and desserts.  If you collect tea pots, tea cups and, well, TEA, this is THE place for you to visit!  Please let them know Imagine Cheesecake sent you in for a great tea experience!

Also on Salem Street in Apex and directly across the street from the Pineapple Tea Room, is the All Booked Up Used Bookstore.  Owners Shiloh Burnam and Janice Monaco have WONDERFULLY decorated their large space with very comfortable areas in which you can have a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or tea and read or play Guitar Hero and watch DVDs.   There is also a large, again very comfortable, room for children to read and play.  They have a beautifully decorated store filled with books of every kind for reasonable prices.  Please stop in and tell them Imagine Cheesecake said you would enjoy a great bookstore experience there.  You truly will!

On the west end of Cary in the Stone Creek Village Shopping Center (High House Road and Davis Drive) is the It’s a Grind Coffee House.  Owned by James Griffis , It’s a Grind is THE place to study, have business meetings, work and socialize over the most delicious lattes, teas, smoothies and great bagels and desserts!  On cold days and evenings, sit by the fireplace to add to your fantastic coffee experience.  Watch for great weekend entertainment also.  James and Lisa Griffis are the BEST, as is their staff.  Ask for a slice of Imagine Cheesecake and tell them we sent you!

There are many more places I will suggest you visit in another post.  These will get you started, though.  Great places and the best people!

Imagine…Coffee Cheesecake!

There’s been some interest and requests for a Coffee Cheesecake.  I’m not a coffee drinker, nor is anyone in my family, BUT, it’s definitely coffee and actually quite good.  Waiting on word from my taste testers and expert coffee drinking friends  (the Ellwangers) now.

Still receiving orders for Thanksgiving.  The first few days of next week are going to be busy, but FUN!

Our first Imagine Cheesecake will be ready to send to the state of California to my sister, Deb Mason.  She’s as excited about receiving it as I am creating and sending it!

We’re receiving a LOT of interest from people in other states.  We’re here to bring sweet Imagine Cheesecake joy to the Cheesecake lovers of America!  Yay, YUM and WOOHOO!

It’s Getting Interesting!

As each week goes by, more and more Imagine Cheesecake orders are coming in – it’s amazing!

I remember, while  making a Cheesecake a few months ago, saying how much I love making them and wishing I could get paid to do it.  It’s WONDERFUL working at something I truly love and realizing I’m actually good at it!  As I tell people regularly, it’s a God thing – I’m just the “hands” that make awseome, and I DO mean awesome, Cheesecakes!  It’s a God – given talent, that’s for sure!

The best part of it for me?  Watching the faces of those after their first taste of an Imagine Cheesecake and hearing them tell me how delicious they are.

Creating new Imagine Cheesecakes also makes me extremely happy.  I could create a new Cheesecake every single day and be very content.  I kid you not.

With Thanksgiving being next week, the orders are coming in, for which I am thankful!

Whirlwind!

I never meant to stay away from you folks so long!  WOW!  So MUCH has been going on with Imagine Cheesecake over the past month – it’s almost hard to keep up!

My Cheesecakes have been tasted by many, many people at this point.   They’ve been VERY well received, for which I am extremely thankful!

New Cheesecakes have been added to the roster, as well as new shapes (heart and square shapes) and sizes (the 6 inch Cheesecakes are drawing a lot of attention and are beginning to sell quite nicely.  We now have 1 1/4 inch “Delicate Minis” that are just awesome!  They will debut this Saturday at a fund raiser at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Cary, NC.  I think they’re going to be well received.  They’re perfect for dinner parties, baby or bridal showers, or functions like these.  Imagine Cheesecake of the month will debut in January, and I’m looking forward to this addition to our offerings also!

Thanksgiving orders are also going very well.

We’ve made the decision to start selling to out-of-state clients as of December 1st!  WOOHOO!  I’m very excited about it and so are a few others!  There’s a fantastic ultimate goal in mind, but I’ll talk about THAT one a little later…

On the Freeway and in the Fast Lane!

Imagine Cheesecake is flying down the Cheesecake freeway!

We had a our debut Cheesecake Tasting last Saturday evening at the It’s a Grind Coffee House in (west) Cary, NC!  Joy and excitement!  I baked seven – yes SEVEN – Cheesecakes for the event.  I was in Cheesecake production for two days, but it was well worth it!  We showcased our Imagine… Lemon Vanilla, Spicy Pumpkin, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, White Chocolate Raspberry, Irish Cream, Creme de Menthe and Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecakes!  Each was so different from the other, but were also fabulously delicious.  We got rave reviews from those that tasted the Cheesecakes.  It was fun meeting each individual and telling them about each Cheesecake they would taste.

The music by Peter Jordan was fantastic!  James G, owner of It’s a Grind, was the perfect host and was very attentive and accommodating.

We came in, as scheduled, to a crowd of people waiting to taste our Cheesecakes – what an awesome welcome!  It was pretty brisk for over an hour.  Everyone was very patient as they waited in line to taste.

We had a great surprise for one special guest that evening – an Imagine Cheesecake!

Our night would not have been successful without my husband and our two daughters.  We worked as a well oiled machine, or, as we say in our home, like a fantastic TEAM!

Peter and I spoke with James G afterward.  We WILL have another event soon.

Very excited.  Very thankful.

…And More Cheesecake!

More orders are rolling in! My tester Cheesecakes are coming out WONDERFULLY! The Imagine Cheesecake Fairy struck again today sharing slices of Imagine…Luscious Caramel – awesome time! Imagine Cheesecake joined the chamber of commerce today!

I love sharing the joy of delicious Cheesecakes with others.
